Turn off beep sound in OSX Terminal
This is something that will drive you crazy unless you turn it off. By default, Terminal will beep when you hit TAB to autocomplete and there is more than one result.
In Terminal go to Preferences->Settings->Advanced and uncheck ‘Audible Bell’.
By the way, to display all results when doing autocomplete simply hit TAB twice.
